A. Vincent
1928–2015
A. Vincent photographed Malayalam cinema into existence as a visual language - he shot Neelakkuyil and Chemmeen - and then directed some eighty films of his own.
He worked in Hindi occasionally. In Malayalam he is held to be the cameraman who taught the industry what light could do indoors.
