1929–1997

Lalji Pandey wrote as Anjaan from the 1950s, and his best-known work came late - Don and Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, both for Kalyanji-Anandji, both in 1978.

*Khaike Paan Banaraswala* is his, and so is *Rote Hue Aate Hain Sab*. His son Sameer became the most prolific Hindi lyricist of the 1990s.
