Bob Christo

1940–2011

Bob Christo was an Australian structural engineer who came to India and was handed a career as the foreign henchman - the bare-chested white man who loses the fight in reel nine.

He appeared in around two hundred films including Kaalia, Mard and Farishtay. He later taught yoga in Bangalore and wrote a memoir about the whole improbable arrangement.
