Dinesh Hingoo

1940–

Dinesh Hingoo played the shrill, flustered comic part - the clerk, the shopkeeper, the hotel manager - in some two hundred Hindi films from the 1970s onward.

Farishtay, Sharaabi, Chaalbaaz, Karz. Like several of the period's comedians he is instantly recognisable and almost never named in the reviews.
