Esmayeel Shroff

1960–2022

Esmayeel Shroff directed Hindi films from the late 1970s - Thodisi Bewafaii, Ahista Ahista, Bepanah - mostly romances with strong soundtracks.

Thodisi Bewafaii, with Rajesh Khanna and Shabana Azmi, is the one most often named, and Khayyam's score for it is the reason.
