Inder Raj Anand
Inder Raj Anand wrote dialogue for Raj Kapoor through R.K. Films' best years, and his lines are a good part of why those films still play - the speech is plain where the plot is operatic.
Awara, Shree 420, Sangam, Jaani Dushman, Kaalia. He was given the Padma Shri. His son Tinnu Anand, also on this site, directed Kaalia from his father's script.
