Jal Mistry
1923–2000
Jal Mistry photographed Hindi films from the 1940s onward - Amar, Mother India's second unit, Dil Ek Mandir, Kudrat - across a career of around sixty films.
He and his brother Fali Mistry were both leading cinematographers at the same time, which is unusual and is the main thing recorded about either of them outside their filmographies.
