Jankidas

1910–2003

Jankidas was a cyclist who rode for India before he was an actor, and then appeared in something over three hundred Hindi films, almost always in parts of a few minutes - the manager, the broker, the man at the next table.

He worked from the 1930s to the 1980s, Farishtay among the late ones. He wrote about the early industry, and his cycling records stood for years after he stopped.
