K. Bapayya

Kovelamudi Bapayya directed around a hundred films in Telugu and Hindi between the mid-1970s and the early 1990s, usually at a pace that left no room for a second take. He worked the two industries in parallel, often remaking his own Telugu hits in Hindi within a year or two.
