Kamna Chandra

Kamna Chandra wrote the story of Chandni, and before it Prem Rog and Qarib Qarib Singlle - three films across four decades, which is a small and unusually well-chosen filmography.

She wrote plays for All India Radio first. Her children are the director Vikram Chandra's siblings: the novelist Vikram Chandra, and the directors Tanuja Chandra and Anupama Chopra, the film critic.
