Kishore Sahu

1915–1980

Kishore Sahu wrote, directed, produced and acted from the late 1930s, and was one of the few people in the industry working across all four at a time when the studio system did not encourage it.

He made Sindoor, Mayur Pankh and Hare Kanch Ki Chooriyan, and acted for others into the 1970s - he is in Apnapan. Guide, which he worked on, is the credit he is most often attached to.
