Pramod Chakravorty made big, expensive, crowd-pleasing films and was one of the first Hindi producers to shoot abroad as a matter of course.

Love in Tokyo, Jugnu, Dream Girl, Warrant, Azaad. Love in Tokyo in 1966 did much of its shooting in Japan, which at the time was a selling point in itself.
