Ravi Chopra
1946–2014
Ravi Chopra directed for his father B. R. Chopra's company and made The Burning Train, Zameer and Baghban. The last of those, about an elderly couple abandoned by their children, was an enormous and completely unexpected success in 2003.
He is better known in India for television: the Mahabharat of 1988-90, which he produced and which emptied streets every Sunday morning for two years.
