Sarika
1962–
Sarika acted as a child from the age of four, often in boys' clothes because those were the parts going, and moved into adult leads in her teens. Jaani Dushman, at seventeen, is from that crossing.
She worked steadily through the 1980s, stopped after marrying Kamal Haasan, and came back in the 2000s to win a National Award for Parzania and a Filmfare award for Lajja. She has since worked as a costume designer.
