Shammi

1929–2018

Nargis Rabadi acted under the name Shammi for sixty years, from the early 1950s to Hindi television in the 2010s - around two hundred films, mostly in comic and character parts.

She was briefly married to the director Sultan Ahmed. She is no relation to Shammi Kapoor, which is a confusion she spent her career correcting.
