Simi Garewal

1947–

Simi Garewal acted from the early 1960s and chose unusually - Satyajit Ray's Aranyer Din Ratri, Raj Kapoor's Mera Naam Joker, Karz - rather than building a conventional run of leads.

She is in Kabhi Kabhie. She later made documentaries and became better known for a television interview programme, filmed entirely in white, that ran for most of the 1990s and 2000s.
