Sultan Ahmed
1938–2002
Sultan Ahmed directed big, slow, handsome films with large casts, and made Ganga Ki Saugandh and Dharam Kanta in a register that was already going out of fashion when he used it.
Heera, Ganga Ki Saugandh, Dharam Kanta, Daata. He assisted Mehboob Khan early on, which shows in the scale.
