Tatineni Rama Rao

1938–2022

Tatineni Rama Rao directed something over a hundred films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, often remaking his own southern hits in the north within a year or two.

In Hindi: Judaai, Aandhi Toofan, Insaaf Ki Pukar, Ek Hi Bhool, Pyaar Ka Mandir. He worked at a pace that only the parallel-industry directors of that generation managed.
