Tinnu Anand
1953–
Tinnu Anand assisted Satyajit Ray for seven years in Calcutta before directing in Bombay, which is an unusual apprenticeship for someone who then made Amitabh Bachchan action films.
He directed Duniya Meri Jeb Mein, Kaalia, Shahenshah and Main Azaad Hoon, and acted in a long list of others. He is the son of the writer Inder Raj Anand, who wrote Kaalia.
