Vatsala Kumtekar

Actress and singer; Kamla in Aurat (1940)

She plays Kamla, and a surviving press clipping about the film mentions her in the same breath as Sunalini Devi, Kanhaiyalal and Brijrani, so she was among the players worth naming at the time. Searching the encyclopaedia, the specialist archive and Wikidata for her returns nothing at all - not a thin entry, nothing - and that is the state of the record rather than an oversight here.
