Vijay Arora

1944–2007

Vijay Arora was the Film Institute's gold medallist and arrived in Yaadon Ki Baaraat as the romantic lead, which should have been the start of something larger than it was.

Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Zakhmee, Rani Aur Lalpari. A generation knows him instead as Indrajit in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan on television, which is a strange fate for a film institute medallist and not an unhappy one.
