Description
89 FM A Radio Rock is a Brazilian rock station serving Greater Sao Paulo on 89.1 FM, licensed to Osasco and controlled by Grupo Camargo de Comunicacao. It launched in December 1985 and became the pioneer of commercial rock radio in Brazil. It dropped rock for pop in 2006, then brought the rock format back in December 2012 after listeners pushed for it through a test web stream, and it has since led the Brazilian rock segment.
