Description
The British Forces Broadcasting Service station for the Falkland Islands, put together by a small local team working from studios on Rockhopper Road at the Mount Pleasant Complex. It serves British military personnel and their families in the islands with British pop and chart music, chat and competitions, plus Falklands Breakfast, Saturday Sport and live shows running from early morning to early evening on weekdays. Transmitters at Sapper Hill, Mount Pleasant West, Byron Heights, Mount Alice and Mount Kent carry it on FM, and it is also available online, on the BFBS app and through smart speakers.
