Description
Capitalk 100.4 FM was Zimbabwe's first commercial talk radio station, on air in Harare since September 2016 and owned by the newspaper group Zimpapers. It sets out to tell and reflect Zimbabwe's story from a Harare point of view, covering news, current affairs, business and sport through discussion, analysis and phone-ins rather than a playlist. It made history as the first Zimbabwean station to carry a live presidential interview in which listeners could put questions directly by phone, text and social media. Programming is mainly English, with Shona and Ndebele also used on air.
