Description
Fabulosa Estéreo has been on the air since 1993 and calls itself the number one station in Panama, broadcasting from Panama City as part of the Cadena Emporio Radial Ancón group alongside Radio Ancón and TropiQ. It is a DJ station first and foremost, mixing reggae, reggaeton, hip hop, electronica and pop and rock in both English and Spanish, and it describes itself as the mother station where many of the country's working DJs were trained. The line-up runs deep, from DJ Dabney and DJ Jimmy del West on the weekday afternoon show Short Cut to DJ Garu's late Saturday sets and Dr Riddim's reggae roots, with a midday sports talk slot called Casi Deportes breaking up the music.
