Description
Family Radio FM 104.5, known in Mongolian as Ger buliin radio, has broadcast from Ulaanbaatar since 2001. Its whole editorial line is built around family life, friendship and relationships, aimed largely at younger listeners, and it also carries paid religious slots with Christian content. Coverage reaches past the capital into the Baganuur and Nalaikh districts and out to regional centres including Bayankhongor and Murun. It broadcasts in Mongolian for roughly 77 hours a week and ranks second in Ulaanbaatar behind the national broadcaster.
