Description
FM4 is the alternative youth network of ORF, Austria's public broadcaster, on air since 1995 and around the clock since 2000. It describes its own sound as alternative mainstream, covering indie and alternative rock, electronic music, hip-hop and soul, with club programming such as techno, house and drum and bass filling Friday nights. Alongside the music it carries cultural discussion, interviews and live concert broadcasts, and its long-running Soundpark strand exists specifically to champion Austrian artists.
