How we checked Iran International
Everything published about this station was read from the station's own website or its own stream, and every fact below names the page it came from and the year it was read. Nothing needed correcting. We also found 2 things we could have published and decided not to.

Description
Iran International is a Persian-language news broadcaster that reports on Iran from outside the country. It is run by Volant Media UK Ltd and works out of London, having briefly moved to Washington in 2023 after security threats before returning to a new London base. Alongside its television and online services it runs Radio Iran International, which reaches listeners inside Iran on shortwave. The output is news, current affairs and talk rather than music, with heavy coverage of politics, protests, the economy and human rights.

Contact route
social accounts and an audience-submission call, but no contact page: the footer of its own pages links seven accounts it runs itself (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, Telegram, LinkedIn), and the site publishes an editorial call asking audiences inside and outside the country to send it documents, video, photographs and audio accounts. No email address, telephone number, online form or contact page exists on its own domain: the homepage, the About page and the document-submission article were all read, the site is a client-rendered Next.js app so its server HTML and its React flight payload were both searched for mailto, tel, WhatsApp, Telegram and Signal links and found none, its sitemap index and category sitemap list only news sections, 28 script chunks were searched, and every guessed contact slug returns the generic app shell rather than a page

What we corrected
Nothing. This station's entry matched what its own site says, which is worth recording: a clean check is a result, not an absence of one.
What we found and did not publish
Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.
| What we could have said | Why we did not |
|---|---|
| nothing withheld: no email address, telephone number or postal address is published anywhere on its own domain | there was no contact detail to hold back
source |
| a CONTACT_URL | no contact page exists on its own domain and guessing a slug is how an invented URL gets into this catalogue, so the line is omitted

If you think something here is wrong
Tell us which fact and what you found instead. Everything above names its source and its date, so a disagreement can be settled by looking rather than argued. Where another site disagrees with us, it is usually because it is repeating a radio directory, and occasionally because we got it wrong. We would like to know which.
Read from the station's own material; this page is generated from the
catalogue as it stands now, so it changes when the research does. Research
current as at 2026.
