Description
Irie 98 is Bermuda's reggae station, on 98.3 FM out of Front Street in Hamilton, and it calls itself Bermuda's feel good station. Ben Fairn founded it in November 2010 as a strictly reggae outlet, and an ownership group of Russell Griffith, Michael Terceira and Teddy Terceira bought it in October 2023 and relaunched it in March 2024, keeping the reggae core but opening the playlist up to dancehall, afrobeats and soca alongside the older Caribbean styles. Weekday mornings belong to The Morning Show with ET Flava, DJ iBreeze runs Monday Night Hype, and the comedian Mr Fotogenik closes the week with a Friday segment called What a Week. It also puts its shows out as podcasts and through its own phone app.
