Description
ISAAC 98.1 FM, known on air as The Promise, is a gospel station in Port of Spain and part of the Family Focus Broadcasting Network. It signed on in 2002 as the first 24-hour full gospel station in Trinidad and Tobago, and it still runs around the clock from Woodford Street in Newtown. Weekdays open with prayer at five in the morning, roll into the Breakfast Booster Show, and then work through family-shaped strands across the day, among them Men Talk, Youth in Focus, Tweens, Kingdom Kids and Forever Young, before worship and overnight prayer take the station into the small hours. The music is gospel, contemporary and traditional, wrapped around preaching, ministry and listener calls.

Contact route
A Contact Us page headed "Get in touch" and "Contact our team" with a working form taking name, email and message; and a footer contact block on every page publishing a telephone number annotated in plain words as "(Call In On-Air)", two further station numbers, a station mailbox and the Woodford Street address in Port of Spain, plus the station's own Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts and a Google Forms listener survey linked from the header. The call-in annotation is the station saying outright that a human takes listener calls on air.

What we corrected
Each of these changed a field in our own entry. The reasoning is the researcher's own, recorded when the change was made.
| Field | Change | Why |

what it said before was not recorded; the
reasoning usually states it

stored http://www.isaac981.com/ 301-redirects here and its bare https fails certificate validation; isaacthepromise.com fetched and read, genuine station site with matching Newtown address and [email protected] contact |
What we found and did not publish
Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.
| What we could have said | Why we did not |
|---|---|
| The call-in number, the two other numbers, the station mailbox and the Port of Spain address | publishable by type only. Worth flagging that this site is the theme trap in the brief's list caught in a milder form: every one of those footer contact items is wrapped in an anchor whose href is "#", so none of them is clickable, and only the plain text beside the dead links carries the real route. Also the parent Family Focus Broadcasting Network's contributions page and the site developer's link in the copyright strip, which are not listener routes.

If you think something here is wrong
Tell us which fact and what you found instead. Everything above names its source and its date, so a disagreement can be settled by looking rather than argued. Where another site disagrees with us, it is usually because it is repeating a radio directory, and occasionally because we got it wrong. We would like to know which.
Read from the station's own material; this page is generated from the
catalogue as it stands now, so it changes when the research does. Research
current as at 2026.
