How we checked Kosmos 94.1
Everything published about this station was read from the station's own website or its own stream, and every fact below names the page it came from and the year it was read. Nothing needed correcting. We also found 3 things we could have published and decided not to.

Description
Kosmos 94.1 is Namibia's favourite Afrikaans radio station, broadcasting from Windhoek since 2001 and describing itself in exactly those words on its own front page. The day is built around four long live shows that carry news, chat, competitions and humour between the music, with a playlist leaning on Afrikaans songs alongside familiar contemporary and older favourites. News coverage is genuinely local, and the station also puts out podcasts and a daily thought for the day. It has become the main Afrikaans-language voice in Namibian broadcasting.

What we corrected
Nothing. This station's entry matched what its own site says, which is worth recording: a clean check is a result, not an absence of one.
What we found and did not publish
Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.
| What we could have said | Why we did not |
|---|---|
| the telephone, the mailbox and the street address | published in the contact block, and the form is the route worth naming
source |
| the developer's own mailbox found beside their company link | it belongs to the agency credited "Developed by" in the footer and is also the address offered as payment support, so it is the agency's desk and not the station's; the station's own mailbox is a separate address in the contact block higher up the same page
source |
| provenance | the served page is a 5KB Vite shell with an empty root div, and the entire footer, the contact block and the form exist only in the compiled JS bundle, which is where I read them; the site's own /humans.txt independently names a station contact

If you think something here is wrong
Tell us which fact and what you found instead. Everything above names its source and its date, so a disagreement can be settled by looking rather than argued. Where another site disagrees with us, it is usually because it is repeating a radio directory, and occasionally because we got it wrong. We would like to know which.
Read from the station's own material; this page is generated from the
catalogue as it stands now, so it changes when the research does. Research
current as at 2026.
