Description
This is the Rock channel of M80 Radio, the Portuguese oldies network owned by Bauer Media Audio Portugal, which also runs Radio Comercial, Cidade FM, Smooth FM and Batida FM. The parent station plays pop and rock hits from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s on FM right across mainland Portugal, and the Rock stream narrows that catalogue to the guitar side of it, nonstop. It is an online channel rather than a transmitter of its own, heard through m80.pt and the Rayo player, and it sits alongside sister streams for the 70s, 90s, dance, disco, soul, indie and ballads.

Radio Macau is a well known Portuguese pop rock band that M80 plays and promotes, so a title harvested from stream metadata reads as M80 Radio, Radio Macau, Rock. Renaming it aligns the entry with the sibling channel already carried as M80 Radio - 80s. |

Not Macau. M80 Radio is Portuguese, owned by Bauer Media Audio Portugal, and its own frequency page lists mainland Portugal only, with no Macau entry; 107.1, the frequency directories attach to the supposed Macau station, is in fact M80's Beja and Faro frequency. Macau's licensed radio is only Radio Macau (Cantonese 100.7, Portuguese 98.0) and Radio Vilaverde (99.5), with no M80. This entry is M80's Rock web channel. |
