Description
The Arabic-language international radio service of France Medias Monde, produced in Paris for listeners across the Middle East and North Africa. It began in 1972 as Radio Monte Carlo Moyen-Orient and took its present name in the mid-2000s, and it now pairs rolling Arabic news with talk, culture, health, science, digital and sport magazines. Daily press reviews go through the Arab, French and Israeli papers, and there is even a strand teaching French through a radio drama. Schedules are announced in Paris time.
