How we checked NIA Radio - Pacifique
Everything published about this station was read from the station's own website or its own stream, and every fact below names the page it came from and the year it was read. We changed 1 thing about this entry. We also found 2 things we could have published and decided not to.

Description
NIA Radio Pacifique is the flagship channel of NIA, which bills itself simply as the electronic radio of Nouméa. Programmed to New Caledonian hours, it moves through named blocks across the day, from a daytime Deep Mix into a long Lazy Sunday, then Night Infusion overnight and Chill towards dawn. The music is deep house, melodic techno and downtempo electronica, built from original mixes and remixes by international producers rather than chart dance. A second feed, NIA Europe, carries the same programming shifted to central European time.

Contact route
the same operator route as NIA Radio Lo-Fi, shared across its channels on the one site: no contact page, email, telephone or form anywhere, confirmed by a WordPress REST API listing of all four pages the site has (home, blog, beta, help); the one listener route is the site-wide "Suivez-nous" footer widget linking the station's own Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts; I found no channel-specific route and am inventing no difference

Where
Noumea, New Caledonia; the station's own stream directory names this channel "NIA Pacifique" and describes it as "la radio electronique de Noumea", and the site states no frequency or platform anywhere, its own page index listing only four pages (home, blog, help, beta) while its help page describes it purely as a Web App streaming AAC+ at 128 kbps with Chromecast support

What we corrected
Each of these changed a field in our own entry. The reasoning is the researcher's own, recorded when the change was made.
| Field | Change | Why |
|---|---|---|
| language code |
fr
what it said before was not recorded; the
reasoning usually states it
|
Language was blank while the sister channel NIA Radio Lo-Fi on the same service already carries fr. The station's own server at radio.nia.nc describes this channel in French as la radio electronique de Noumea, and nia.nc is published in fr-FR. |
What we found and did not publish
Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.
| What we could have said | Why we did not |
|---|---|
| a per-show action button in the schedule app's Vue template that can be configured as an email link | unrendered generic plugin template, not confirmed populated for any show
source |
| the sibling channels NIA Europe and NIA Lo-Fi with their stream mounts, and the station API host found in the player bundle | they are other channels and infrastructure detail, not this channel's transmission

If you think something here is wrong
Tell us which fact and what you found instead. Everything above names its source and its date, so a disagreement can be settled by looking rather than argued. Where another site disagrees with us, it is usually because it is repeating a radio directory, and occasionally because we got it wrong. We would like to know which.
Read from the station's own material; this page is generated from the
catalogue as it stands now, so it changes when the research does. Research
current as at 2026.
