Paradise 98FM is the commercial, youth-facing music station of the Vanuatu Broadcasting and Television Corporation, launched in 2009 as the national broadcaster's second radio service. It runs from Port Vila and sets out to reach young ni-Vanuatu with music and programmes aimed at them rather than at the general news audience of its sister service. The station is part of a state-owned broadcaster funded by government, donor grants and advertising, and shares VBTC's national reach. Its own billing is simply that it is Vanuatu's number one youth-oriented station.
