Description
R/a/dio is a long running community internet station built around anime and Japanese music, and it has been going for well over a decade. Most of the time an automated stream keeps the music flowing while listeners queue up their own requests from the station's library, so the playlist is genuinely shaped by the people tuning in. Several nights a week a volunteer DJ takes over and talks over the tracks, and the tone is chatty, irreverent and unmistakably of the internet. Expect J-pop, doujin and circle releases, idol songs, vocaloid, anime themes and a great deal of video game music, with the odd dance set thrown in. The station also runs themed streams around Valentine's Day and the winter holidays that pull the regulars back in. There is no transmitter and no advertising here, just a stream, a chat room and a staff list of nicknames.

What we found and did not publish
Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.
