Radio América is the Quito station of Cadena Radial América, an Ecuadorian house that runs radio and television side by side. In the capital you find it at 104.5 FM, and the same network carries sister signals in Guayaquil, Ibarra and Tulcán plus a Miami feed. The station sets out its own job as producing journalism, education, culture and entertainment, and the news desk plainly leads: the front page fills up every day with Ecuadorian politics, the courts, the power supply, weather and sport.
