Description
Radio La Senda Antigua is the online station of Iglesia La Senda Antigua, a Spanish-speaking Pentecostal-leaning congregation that meets on East Adams Boulevard in South Los Angeles. The church takes its name and its whole outlook from Jeremiah 6:16, the call to stand at the crossroads and ask for the ancient paths, and the radio is simply an extension of that: hymns, worship music and preaching in Spanish, running through the day between services. Much of what plays comes from the congregation's own circle, including recordings by Ministerio Musical Hebron. The player sits inside the church website itself, so listeners arrive alongside the verse of the day, recent services and the Bible study archive. Pastor Bernardo Rodriguez and his wife Leticia lead the work, which also oversees congregations in Morelia in Mexico and Mae Sai in Thailand, and that missionary reach colours the tone of what you hear.
