Description
Radio Monte Carlo is the Italian national station that trades on a Riviera name and a Milanese address, and it sells itself in three words: Musica di Gran Classe. The sound is grown-up and unhurried, adult pop and soul brushing up against jazz, lounge and soft classics, with the volume of chat kept deliberately low. Mornings open with Bonjour Bonjour and a French inflection that the station has never dropped, the afternoon drifts through Happy Together and C'est la Vie, and after dark Monte Carlo Nights turns the whole thing into a jazz club. It keeps a proper newsroom too, and a run of web channels that split the playlist into jazz, acoustic, eighties and Buddha Bar strands. The Principality still gets its own corner of the schedule and its own section on the site.

The Note Legali document hosted at radiomontecarlo.net/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/NOTE_LEGALI__RMC_v202301.pdf states that RMC ITALIA S.p.A., with registered office at Via Principe Amedeo 2, 20121 Milano, P.I. 08745900152, is the holder of the radio broadcaster (titolare dell'emittente radiofonica), controlled by RadioMediaset of the MFE-MediaForEurope group at Largo Donegani 1, 20121 Milano, and that use of the services is governed by Italian law with Milan as the exclusive forum. The station's own contacts page gives a Milan switchboard number, 02-2900 1636. Monaco appears only as an editorial section, not as the place it broadcasts from. |
