Description
The Montenegrin arm of the Radio S family, run from a studio in Podgorica and spread across Montenegro on a long list of FM frequencies from the capital out to Nikšić, Pljevlja, Žabljak and the coast. It is licensed and operated in Montenegro in its own right, by a Podgorica company, even though it shares the Radio S name and website with the Belgrade network. Musically it is a straightforward pop station, current domestic and regional hits with international chart records mixed in. The day is anchored by two live presenter shows, a four-hour morning wake-up and a long afternoon programme of chat, information and light humour, with unbroken music running between and after them. Its own copy is written in the Ijekavian speech of Montenegro rather than the Belgrade style used elsewhere on the network, which is a small but telling sign of where it actually lives.
