Description
Saudade FM is the flashback station of the Baixada Santista, the stretch of Brazilian coast around Santos where the beach, the port and the old songs all run together. Founded in December 2007, it built itself on one idea: that every song carries a memory, and that radio can still be the companion and confidant it once was. The day opens with Conexão Saudade from 7 to 9, gives over the late morning to O Tempo e o Mar, then settles into long unhurried shifts with the same familiar voices right through the night. Alongside the music it runs its own newsroom, covering Santos city hall, the water utility, local sport and culture as well as national and international stories. Listeners reach it on 99,7 MHz across the Baixada, and also through the website player, phone and TV apps, Alexa, satellite and Claro Net TV channel 300.
