Description
Radio Woyowayanko broadcasts on 93.00 MHz from Kati, just outside Bamako, and it is the kind of local Malian station that prints its studio telephone number twice in a two line announcement. It went online so that listeners beyond the reach of its FM signal could follow it, announcing the move in French with the promise that its programmes would soon be live on the internet. Its own slogan is Votre Fidelite Notre Fierte, your loyalty our pride. What comes out of the speakers is Malian through and through: Mande song and guitar, with Djénéba et Fousco and the great griot voice of Kassé Mady Diabaté both logged inside one afternoon. There is no published schedule, so the music is the shape of the day.

What we corrected

Each of these changed a field in our own entry. The reasoning is the researcher's own, recorded when the change was made.

FieldChange Why
homepage url https://zeno.fm/radio/radio-woyowayanko/ → cleared Same pattern. The stored value was a Zeno.fm hosting page. Its Website link resolves to radio-woyowayanko.mdn.live, which I fetched and which serves a Zeno-branded mirror of the same page, title 'Listen to Radio Woyowayanko - Bamako - Mali | Zeno.FM'. The station's own material gives only a phone number, +223 20 71 87 54, and no web address. Field cleared.

What we found and did not publish

Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.

What we could have said Why we did not
Afrikaans as a broadcast language the hosting page's registered language fields read Afrikaans, French for this Bamako station, and the directories repeat it. Nothing in the station's own material or in its playout supports Afrikaans.
source
radio-woyowayanko.mdn.live as its homepage Visit Our Website resolves to a white-label mirror of the same hosting page, titled Zeno.FM. The homepage field is cleared rather than repointed.
source
French as the broadcast language the station's written announcement is in French, but the logged tracks are Malian with Bambara titles. The stored Bambara was left alone rather than overwritten from the language the notice happens to be typed in.

If you think something here is wrong

Tell us which fact and what you found instead. Everything above names its source and its date, so a disagreement can be settled by looking rather than argued. Where another site disagrees with us, it is usually because it is repeating a radio directory, and occasionally because we got it wrong. We would like to know which.

Read from the station's own material; this page is generated from the catalogue as it stands now, so it changes when the research does. Research current as at 2026.
