Radio Simorgh is a Persian-language internet radio with several separate streams, and its most striking feature is who makes it: the stations are run in collaboration with a group of physically disabled, blind and low-vision people, and programmes are deliberately produced so that listeners with different disabilities can use them. The music and culture stream mixes music with radio stories, competitions, film soundtracks and arts programming, leaning more on older recordings than new releases, with the stated aim of keeping the fine work of the past in circulation.
