How we checked Rytmabad
Everything published about this station was read from the station's own website or its own stream, and every fact below names the page it came from and the year it was read. We changed 1 thing about this entry. We also found 3 things we could have published and decided not to.

Description
In its own words on its About page: "Rytmabad is an online community radio station based at DSL System studio in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Our aim is to represent underground electronic and instrumental artists from Central Asia, to archive and catalog information about the electronic scene in our region, and to collaborate with promo groups, artists, podcasts, and events. We have already recorded and streamed over 200 sets from more than 150 different artists." The site styles the wordmark in lower case and heads every page "rytmabad utc+05". It is built around recorded DJ and live sets, each credited to a named artist, grouped into a handful of running strands and kept as a browsable archive.

Contact route
No email address, no contact form, no phone number and no contact page anywhere on the site, including the About page and the footer. The only routes the station itself offers are a Telegram bot linked from the navigation as "shop", and its Instagram, YouTube and SoundCloud accounts. There is unmistakable human presence behind it (named residents, dated live sessions, a physical studio), so the absence of a contact route is a choice rather than a sign of a machine.

Era
not an era format. The archive is current, running from 2026 back through mid-2026 on the pages I read, and the music is contemporary.
|
rytmabad (rytmabad.radio) | 2026 |
|
Music
Underground electronic and instrumental music. The IRIS strand is tagged by the station itself as "broadcast / events / open decks / house - techno / community".

Language
English is the only language the station publishes in: the About text, the navigation, the show strands and every show description are English. The output itself is recorded DJ sets, so there is little or no speech to place a language on, and I have not proposed a language code for that reason.

|
Kind
Recorded and streamed sets with a rotating daily schedule, run by a community of resident and guest artists out of one physical studio. The station says the sets are recorded and streamed from the DSL System studio, and its archive of over 200 sets is browsable, so the output is scheduled playback of its own recordings rather than automated music or a relay of someone else's service.

|
Worth knowing
The station describes archiving and cataloguing the Central Asian electronic scene as part of its purpose, not just broadcasting it, and the A to Z artist index with a page per artist is that archive in practice.

Where
Tashkent, Uzbekistan, at the DSL System studio. The station states this twice in its own words, on the About page and again in the description of its TRRWAVE strand: "The Rytmabad Radio Wave DJ series presenting multiple genres and all recorded and streamed from DSL System studio in Tashkent." Online only, no frequency published.

On air
The station credits a named artist on almost every broadcast rather than naming staff presenters. The player header showed "care7 w/ hollowmonk" on air while I was reading. Named across the current and recent editions: hollowmonk, care7, OMAD, FIDEL, MITCH, SIMON WILD, Di_creart, akim, semi, electrofocus, Shargiyya, Chyngyz, ARTSUN, REM Sleep, SHERØN, khesea, Zarina, 2XUM, wexstie, ianiiiron, Yõldosh, Marko Ostan, jebbi, Taklimakan, UVM, malichavangard, BTR.

Programmes
Five running strands, each with its own description from the station: IRIS ("broadcast / events / open decks / house - techno / community"), IK FEST ("Life celebration and community building festival"), MELT KALT ("Techno Festival in The Mountains of Kyrgyzstan"), Plovistan (no description given), and TRRWAVE ("The Rytmabad Radio Wave DJ series presenting multiple genres and all recorded and streamed from DSL System studio in Tashkent"). Editions are dated rather than timetabled: the most recent at the time of reading were IRIS w/ OMAD, FIDEL, MITCH, SIMON WILD, Di_creart on 25 Sept 2026, IK FEST w/ akim and MELT KALT w/ semi on 19 Sept 2026, and MELT KALT w/ electrofocus on 18 Sept 2026. The front page also carries a live "schedule / today" panel split into day and evening; at the time of reading it showed offsetting and LABEL DAY in the day slots and GHETBASS and Plovistan in the evening slots, with no clock times given.

What we corrected
Each of these changed a field in our own entry. The reasoning is the researcher's own, recorded when the change was made.
| Field | Change | Why |
|---|---|---|
| title | rytmabad → Rytmabad | The operator's own About page at https://rytmabad.radio/about opens 'Rytmabad is an online community radio station based at DSL System studio in Tashkent, Uzbekistan', capitalising the name in its own prose. The lower-case form we hold comes from the site's wordmark styling, which heads every page 'rytmabad utc+05', and an all-lower-case string reads in a catalogue as a placeholder rather than a name. The station also expands the acronym of one of its strands as 'The Rytmabad Radio Wave' on https://rytmabad.radio/shows, capitalised the same way. This is a capitalisation fix only: the name itself is unchanged, and nothing else about the entry is wrong. |
What we found and did not publish
Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.
| What we could have said | Why we did not |
|---|---|
| The DSL System link | The footer links dsl-system.com, the studio the station operates out of. That is a different organisation's site and anything on it is not the station's own material, so I did not open it for facts about the station.
source |
| The Telegram bot handle | The station links a Telegram bot as its shop. I have recorded that the route exists without copying the handle into this file.
source |
| A name of "Rytmabad Radio" | The TRRWAVE description expands the acronym as "The Rytmabad Radio Wave", which could be read as the station's full name being Rytmabad Radio. Its own About sentence says plainly "Rytmabad is an online community radio station", so Rytmabad is the name and Radio is the noun after it. I have proposed the capitalisation only.

If you think something here is wrong
Tell us which fact and what you found instead. Everything above names its source and its date, so a disagreement can be settled by looking rather than argued. Where another site disagrees with us, it is usually because it is repeating a radio directory, and occasionally because we got it wrong. We would like to know which.
Read from the station's own material; this page is generated from the
catalogue as it stands now, so it changes when the research does. Research
current as at 2026.
