Star FM 101.9 is a Grenadian music station whose tagline on its own site is "...bringing more music to your life!". Its About text tells its own history plainly: "Our Live Station kicked off in 1998 in Soubise St. Andrew Grenada and was unfortunately destroyed by Hurricane Ivan in 2004. 14 years after, it was rebuild and licenced as Star FM 101.9 to bring more music to people's life". Beside the radio it sells a spread of services from its studio, including DJ hire, a live band, karaoke, jingles, event planning and sound system rental, and it invites artists to submit songs for airplay.
