How we checked SWR3
Everything published about this station was read from the station's own website or its own stream, and every fact below names the page it came from and the year it was read. Nothing needed correcting. We also found 4 things we could have published and decided not to.

Description
SWR3 is the German-language pop channel of Suedwestrundfunk, the regional public broadcaster for south-west Germany, produced in Baden-Baden with regional studios in Stuttgart and Mainz. It went on air on 30 August 1998 following the merger of predecessor stations SWF3 and SDR 3, and runs a Hot Adult Contemporary format of contemporary pop and rock aimed at 14- to 49-year-olds. Alongside current hits it carries hourly news and traffic reports, reaching around 3.31 million listeners a day.

Contact route
A Kontakt page headed for how listeners can reach the station, with a topic chooser whose first option is writing directly into the radio studio, and an anchor to its own studio contact form. Its site-wide footer block, present on the homepage, the Kontakt page and the Impressum alike, offers three ways into the studio on one number: call the studio, send a Signal message to the studio, or send a WhatsApp message to the studio, with voice messages expressly invited. Also a traffic and jam hotline, a WhatsApp channel and Bluesky, Facebook, Mastodon, Threads, Instagram, TikTok and X accounts. The Impressum carries the station's own editorial address, telephone and email under a heading for contact with the editorial team.

What we corrected
Nothing. This station's entry matched what its own site says, which is worth recording: a clean check is a result, not an absence of one.
What we found and did not publish
Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.
| What we could have said | Why we did not |
|---|---|
| The studio telephone and WhatsApp number, the station's own editorial street address and email, and the traffic hotline | Never copying actual numbers, addresses or emails into this file.
source |
| The Impressum also lists the parent public broadcaster's separate Stuttgart address, telephone and email | Those are the group's, not this station's, so the station's own editorial block was taken instead.
source |
| The studio contact form itself renders client-side, so the served markup shows only the page's weather and traffic search forms | The form is evidenced by the page's own topic-chooser text and its form anchor, while the studio telephone, Signal and WhatsApp routes are plain in the markup.
source |
| the full UKW and DAB+ tables row by row | they run to roughly a hundred transmitter sites and the brief asked for the flagship coverage in one line

If you think something here is wrong
Tell us which fact and what you found instead. Everything above names its source and its date, so a disagreement can be settled by looking rather than argued. Where another site disagrees with us, it is usually because it is repeating a radio directory, and occasionally because we got it wrong. We would like to know which.
Read from the station's own material; this page is generated from the
catalogue as it stands now, so it changes when the research does. Research
current as at 2026.
