How we checked ZIP FM
Everything published about this station was read from the station's own website or its own stream, and every fact below names the page it came from and the year it was read. We changed 2 things about this entry. We also found 2 things we could have published and decided not to.

Description
The station writes its own name as ZIP FM and its promise as "Daugiau muzikos!", meaning more music. Its own About text describes it as a station playing melodic dance music whose presenters do not tire you with long talk but listen to the music with you, carrying only what matters and only in a positive rhythm. It says the main news runs every half hour on weekdays and hourly at weekends together with the Radijas.lt news service, and that it can be heard on FM, online and through the Radijas.lt mobile app. It is one of the Radiocentras group of stations, which its own header lists as RADIOCENTRAS, RELAX FM, RADIO R, ROCK FM, RADIO FIESTA and RADIJAS.LT.

What we corrected
Each of these changed a field in our own entry. The reasoning is the researcher's own, recorded when the change was made.
| Field | Change | Why |
|---|---|---|
| language code |
lt
what it said before was not recorded; the
reasoning usually states it
|
The row was stored with no language. Lithuanian is settled by the station's own site: its About page at https://zipfm.lt/apie-mus/ is written entirely in Lithuanian and describes itself as 'Melodinga sokiu muzika grojancios radijo stoties ZIP FM pazadas' with the promise 'Daugiau muzikos!'; every navigation item is Lithuanian (PAGRINDINIS, DAINU ISTORIJA, MYLIMIAUSIU TOP20, NAUJOS DAINOS, IS KASETES, APIE MUS); its studio-message form confirms in Lithuanian; and its own frequency list is for eight Lithuanian cities from Vilnius to Marijampole. Its own chart carries Lithuanian-language songs with Lithuanian titles, for example Justinas Jarutis and Paulina Paukstaityte 'Diena po dienos' and Dovile Kersyte 'Savo Mintyse'. I checked specifically for Russian or English as the on-air language and found neither: the only non-Lithuanian text on the site is inside foreign song titles. |
| title | ZipFM → ZIP FM | The station spells its own name with a space, consistently and in every position of authority on its own site: the page title reads 'ZIP FM - daugiau muzikos!', the About page heading reads 'APIE MUS | ZIP FM', the frequency block is headed 'ZIP FM DAZNIAI', the player labels the main stream 'ZIP FM', the About text refers to 'radijo stoties ZIP FM', and the footer copyright line reads 'ZIP FM. VISOS TEISES SAUGOMOS'. I found no instance of the closed-up form 'ZipFM' anywhere on https://zipfm.lt/apie-mus/ or on the front page. This is a spelling correction only and does not change which station the row refers to. |
What we found and did not publish
Material that would have made this page fuller, and was refused. A page with five named presenters looks better than a page with none even when the five are a website theme's demonstration content, and the difference is invisible to a reader. So it is recorded here instead.
| What we could have said | Why we did not |
|---|---|
| Four further names the About page prints, KĘSTUTIS IBIANSKAS, IRENA MAKSIMOVA, EVELINA ŽELVYTĖ and VAIDAS BUČYS | the page puts them under a separate heading, RADIJAS.LT ŽINIŲ TARNYBA, which is the Radiocentras group's shared news service and not ZIP FM's own presenter line-up, so listing them as this station's presenters would be group bleed.

| The other station names in the top navigation | they are sibling stations in the same group, not channels of ZIP FM.

If you think something here is wrong
Tell us which fact and what you found instead. Everything above names its source and its date, so a disagreement can be settled by looking rather than argued. Where another site disagrees with us, it is usually because it is repeating a radio directory, and occasionally because we got it wrong. We would like to know which.
Read from the station's own material; this page is generated from the
catalogue as it stands now, so it changes when the research does. Research
current as at 2026.
