ZJB calls itself "COMMUNITY RADIO AT ITS BEST" and refers to itself throughout as Radio Montserrat (ZJB). Its own history page records that it went on air in 1952 as the property of Frank Delisle, broadcasting from the basement of his home in Olveston, that the Government took over in 1957, that it was damaged by Hurricane Hugo and later had to move four times to the north of the island to escape volcanic activity. It carries Montserrat government, community, health, sport and OECS news alongside presented music shifts, and its general enquiries address is on the Montserrat government domain.

Worth knowing
Drive Time is described on its own page as a road-traffic-safety programme that began in the 1980s, ran about thirteen years until the 1995 Soufriere Hills volcanic eruptions interrupted it, and was reintroduced to the airwaves on 2 May 2013, with officers from the Royal Montserrat Police Service traffic department as regular guests.

Montserrat. Its contact page gives its main office at Sweeney's with a Montserrat postcode, and separate lines for the newsroom, on-air, the manager, technical and general enquiries. Its history page says the permanent home of the station has been in Davy Hill since 2019 while staff continue to operate from the temporary Sweeney's location. The only frequency anywhere on the site is in that history page, which records that after Hurricane Hugo FM transmission was implemented and the station broadcast on 92.5 FM.
