Villadhi Villain (1995)

Villadhi Villain ("villain of villains") was directed by the actor Sathyaraj himself, who also plays more than one role in it. The film draws on the screen image he had built, first as a sly villain and then as a sharp-tongued hero, playing with that persona in a story of disguises, cons and revenge. Nagma and Radhika play the female leads, and the songs are by Vidyasagar. It was a commercial entertainer of the mid-1990s and is remembered by fans for Sathyaraj's comic timing and his on-screen transformations.
