Rudhran (2023)

Rudhran lives a happy, ordinary life with his parents and his wife Ananya until his father is cheated by a business partner and dies, leaving a crushing debt. Rudhran takes a job abroad to pay it off, but when he returns, his mother is dead, Ananya is gone and his life is in ruins. Tracing what happened leads him to Bhoomi, a powerful and ruthless man, and the gentle son turns into a one-man army. Rudhran was the first film directed by S. Kathiresan, the producer behind Aadukalam and Polladhavan, and gives veteran star R. Sarathkumar a rare turn as an out-and-out villain. Raghava Lawrence, also known as a choreographer, gets several big dance numbers.
